The waiting game again.....

Hey all. I'm bumming right now.....actually, I've been bumming since July 26th. That's when I went for pre-op testing, and they found my thyroid to be completely out of whack....and I had to postpone my surgery. I have to wait 3 weeks and get my blood drawn again, and then I'll go from there. So, here I am....waiting until Aug 16th to get blood drawn, and hopefully I'll be put back into scheduling. For now, it's WAIT, WAIT, WAIT.......can anyone relate?

I had my surgury postponed 3 times because more heart tests were needed. All turned out fine for me and I'm praying they will for you also. Time will go by. Just hang in there. I finally got approved and its been good since then. I tried checking out all the protien sources and such to at least be doing something towards being ready. Good LUck!!!!

Anne I know how you feel being put on hold...it stinks!!! I had to start all over with a new dr because I had a previous hernia surgery 4 years ago. It will get better...and time is going by fast!! Feel free to vent any time you want here...we will listen and try to help you!! Hugs Judy
