Surprising News...

Well it looks like I won't be having the surgery right now. I found out last night that I am pregnant! My husband and I were obviously not planning on it but that's ok. So the surgery will be put on hold and I will just have to do my darndest to take better care of myself during this pregnancy. I did ok last time with my daughter but my blood pressure kept spiking so that caused some issues with me toward the end. It's exciting but I'm also just a little disappointed that I can't have the surgery now. I was hoping to have the surgery and then a baby...but God had other plans and that's just fine! Congratulations! I weighed 225 when I got pregnant with the third. I only gained 17 pounds. The doctor actually wanted me to GAIN weight, can you believe it? My BP spiked at the very end, three days after my due date, so they induced me. You'll have lots of time after baby is due to focus on yourself. Please keep in touch with the board though. We can all help you make healthy food choices and on track during your pregnancy. Good luck! At 45, I really miss having wee ones. Well, well, well...... Congratulations!!!!!!!!! God has a plan for all of us, and this must be what He wants for you. When He is ready for you to go through with the surgery then everything will fall into place, but in the mean time you are being blessed with a new life. Congrats again! Shawn M.

Just think of it this way, You can have all the ice cream and pickles, and hot dogs and cakes and pie pregnant women crave... Then after you drop that little package off, give yourself a few months and jump right back on this weight loss horse It's an awesome thing though (you having a baby now) because I wondered about being pregnant AFTER surgery and the amount of nutrients a baby would get. so without further adeu' ~~CONGRATULATIONS~~ God Bless Sharmie
