AND THE DR SAID......

Well I saw the surgeon today...he said because of my previous surgery four years ago that involved my hernia wrapped around my esophagus that he wants me to have the EGD done at MMPC instead of here at home. This way he will know what he is up against....WOOOOHOOOOOO HE IS GOING TO DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He did say it would take him maybe an hour longer tho. BUT....if he can't do it Lap RNY he will do open and if he still can't do RNY he will do the DS for me!!!!! So now I wait to hear on the next appointment date which will be with the NUT and the EGD test. I also saw the Behaviorist today...he said I am good to go!!!! WOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't ask for a better day!!!! I also met Eileen from the over 50 board. She was really nice and talked about her surgery and answered my questions. She also gave me a care package to take home....its has some samples for me to try and see if I like them and also some books. I can't wait to try the samples and read those books on my soon to be new life!!! YAAAHHHHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM GETTING CLOSER NOW!!!!! Hugs Judy

Hi Linda!!!!! I am so thrilled now that I am soooo close to having WLS!!!! My hubby sure isn't happy with all the driving to Grand Rapids tho...LOL I don't care I am going to be healthy again!!!!! Hugs Judy

Hi Judy: I was doing laundry this morning and thought about whether you were sitting at the docs that very moment. I'm SO glad you are able to go through with things. Big sigh of relief!
