Introducing myself

Welcome Pam! My surgery (duodenal switch) is two days away, and I, like Judy, am going to MMPC in Grand Rapids. Dr. Kemmeter is my surgeon. I am excited and at peace with this decision. The reason why is because of the unbelieveable amount of support I've had on both the Michigan and the DS boards. I have found fast friends and I think those of who have been fluffy have an incredible amount of empathy and tolerance. Good luck, and I look forward to hearing of your journey! Julie in Ludington

Hi Pam! Welcome to the board. Everyone here is wonderful. I started posting a couple months ago and always got some sort of answer for any question I posted. I am going to be using Hurley as well. I had my consult last month and I need my psych eval and then things will be moving along. I hope all goes smoothly for you and you find yourself on the losers bench soon. Shawn M.
