Good for you sweetie! I know the feelling. I was very emotional and scared when I told my hubby. But he was very understanding - he was just worried about my safety. Take care, Carey

Carey, I found this post by you very interesting. Are you saying that you researched WLS without telling your spouse until you had made up your mind? I have been reading, learning & researching different options for WLS, and I have only mentioned it to my wife once. It's not that I want to hide it from her, but I feel like I am giving up and surrendering to the fat cells. I am sure she would be very suuportive, but was fascinated by your comment which made it sound like you didnt tell him initially. Oh by the way you look great.. Curt

This is great news and you are one step closer to having the surgery. Funny thing happened today, I went to my PCP today for blood test and she was so encouraged about my results that she is considering lap band surgery for herself. The last time I was in to see her (October) she questioned me on the proceedure and how it worked with me on cravings and weightloss, but I thought it was information for her patients that request the surgery. Today she took my surgeons card and will be looking into the surgery. Goes to show you that we are great examples of how this surgery can change people lives. Janice
