New to site

This is my first post. I am hoping to have lap band surgery and am early in the process. After several tests my physician has given me a clear for surgery. I've had the psyc exam and now need to pick a physician. Does anyone have good or bad stories about Dr. Cudjoe of Alma?

Hi Pam, Welcome to the Michigan Board family. You came to the right place to find answers and to do research. It is very important to do research on any doctor you are interested in as well as the procedure you are interested in. This is an amazing site with a lot of info. You wil be able to find out most thing here. Unfortunately I don't have an experience with Dr. Cudjoe, but I am sure that someone will be able to give you info on there experience. Welcome to the OH site Pam. You definately came to the right place, the people on here are awesome and very helpful. I have surgery coming up on Aug 16 with Dr. Foote in Grand Rapids. Try to contact Judy Gunther, I (THINK) she is the one that was going to Dr. Cudjoe...I think, and she ended up switching over to Dr. Foote. He is a wonderful man, I feel I am great hands with him doing my surgery. I wish you the best of luck on this new journey you are beginning. Big hugs, Cheryl

Welcome Pam! I'm one week away from my surgery, which will be with Drs. Foote and Kemmeter at MMPC in Grand Rapids. I think there is a man here on the board who is having surgery with Dr. Cudjoe too. Hope all goes well in your quest. Julie in Ludington

Welcome, fellow Mount Pleasanter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also reside in Mount Pleasant, had open RNY in July of 2005 and love life!!! I welcome you to a great place to meet wonderful people, get advice and have great friends!!! I heard good things about Cudjoe in Alma from a friend who had her surgery done by him a few years ago. I am not sure how to contact her tho. Dr Pilkington does lap rny and open rny and he is in Mount Pleasant and I highly recommend him! Welcome and if you need a friend nearby or/and an angel let me know!!! Stacey
