Hi All, Well, I finally decided to go ahead with the surgery in MI (I am in CT) with Dr. Wood. We flew to Detroit, I did my fasting and phospho soda and was all set to go. Then, I ended up getting very ill the night before my surgery with flu symptoms: chills, headache, aches, pains and fever. So, I had to call and cancel. So now I am out 600 bucks and no surgery. I am so frustrated and upset. Now I have no choice but to have the surgery in CT using my husband's insurance, since mine ended July 31. I hope I will get approved. I dread going through that whole thing all over again. I JUST WANT TO CRY!!!! Mousie

Mousie, I am so sorry you had to go thru all of that for nothing. I know that can be so frustrating. Have you been on the CT board and asked around about your DH's insurance maybe someone can enlighten you. I want to wish you the best and please keep us posted on how the journey is going. Good luck and God Bless.---Toni

I'm SO sorry to hear that Mouse. How disappointed you must be. Please keep us posted about your progress. Hopefully, the CT doctors will push you through because you've already had everything done here. Poor thing! Hugs, Julie

That is just aweful. I remmber about 5 years ago when I traveled from Michigan to North Carolina to have a tubal reveral done, I kept praying I would not get sick and have the surgery cancled. I truly feel for you. Good Luck with getting it done in CT. I hope it all goes smoothly for you. Shawn M.
