OK I HAD MY INTERNIST APPOINTMENT

Thanks Julie!!! No I have to talk to the Dr yet...see what he thinks is the best and if he says its my choice...If I have to be opened up I think I am going to go with the DS. I feel its a better choice too. But if he can do it lap rny I will do that because I won't be off work then so long. Thanks again!! Good Luck!!! Hugs Judy

Foote does Lap DS too....they keep you in the hospital one day longer but your time off is the same. I'm going back... I know, I'm crazy....13 days after my surgery. I have three days of teacher inservices that first week, so it's an easy week, and then my teaching week starts the week after. I'm not a tenured teacher, and I don't want to risk tenure by taking a big chunk of time off so soon out. I figure I'll do easy lesson plans that first week anyway, and just really rest up when I get home.

WOW I didn't know DS could be done LAP....hummmmm now I am getting real interested....LOL I sure hop I can get a date next week but I am sure I am wishing too hard....and just be careful going back to work...you do have to drive to get there....and it isn't always easy doing that!!! Hugs Judy

Great news Judy... I have been wondering how you did at your appt yesterday. One step closer....YEEEEEHAAAA, that is great news for you. Very sweet kind caring people at MMPC!! They called me monday, (surprised me) to set up my surgery date. Aug 16 I will be a loser. YEAH!! Dr. Foote is AWESOME!! Big Hugs. Cheryl

August 16th!!!! WOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you!!!!!!!!!! I saw Dr Foote walking around while I was waiting and he shaved his goatee off....I think he looks better with it gone....LOL And I love them on men too.... CONGRATS!!!!!!!!! Hugs Judy
