A Belated WOW Moment!!
A few days ago, my brother forgot to take some parts t0 work, and when my dad called to ask him a question, Ralph said he had forgotten them and could I bring them over. I told him ok, as I had to get myself together.
Well, I have the outfit on that is in my avatar, and I head over to where he works. Now, the people that work for him have not seen me since before my surgery, but no one said a word to me when I dropped of his stuff.
It seems that after I left, one of the guys asked why Ralph didn't introduce this young lady (ME) to him. Ralph said that he had met his sister before, and Rick said 'not this one.' Ralph just replied, 'Oh, I didn't tell you that Rhonda has lost 90 lbs.' Rick thought is was my younger sister Lisa! Apparently he didn't recognize me!
Boy, does this feel great or what?? 
How nice Rhonda!! I like those wow moments. I was looking forward to my hubby's work picnic today, but ended up sick and dehydrated!! They haven't seen me in a year and I used to work with all of them. I soooooo wanted to show off!! Oh well, I guess it can wait til next year after the plastics LOL!!

This is great! I used to think that people no longer wanted to speak to me since I was thin. I thought they were all being rude. But no one spoke to me since they didn't recognisze me! This is so much fun isn't it? I just love to see people whom I haven't seen in a long time and see their reactions. Congratulations.
About a month ago I went and saw my friend George. We haven't seen each other in three years and I just stopped and quietly waited for him to finish with his tennis clinic. I had dark sunglasses on and had my hair somewhat different and he finally said, "Rhonda, is that you?"
I'm hoping that things will get hotter between us than this heat wave! I want to get hot to trot with him!! 
Isn't it a great feeling! An old neighbor came to our house one evening that had not seen me. He asked my husband if he had gotten divorced and if I was his new girlfriend! He totally did not even recognize me! It was funny - we had a good laugh. Enjoy your moments! You will have many more to come.
