Did you all lose any weight . . .

right after surgery? I was just wondering if when you came home from the hospital any weight was gone and, if not, how soon did it start coming off. Obviously, I am not a patient woman lol. Mousie

I didn't weight myself until my 2 week follow up appointment. I believe I was down either it was 12 pounds or it was 18 pounds. You will lose the weigh pretty quickly. I started at 378 less than a year ago, today I weigh 186. You will be fine mouse~Relax. God bless you, Annette

I too gained quite a few pounds while in the hospital from the IVs (maybe 5-10 lbs?) But the water comes off quickly with the fat! Best wishes

I gained about 14 lbs right after surgery, but I knew before the surgery to expect it. As Kim T. said, it was from all the fluids they pump into you during your hospital stay. It does come off - I think mine was gone after a week. You worry too much! You need to learn patience NOW, especially since there will be times that your body may stop losing to catch up with itself!!
