I am puzzled!!!!
A member of our support group emailed me to find out where the emothional eating forum was on the OH site soooo......I investigated, I have been wanting to check it out myself. I am a BIG advocate for learning to deal with our emtional eating and I thought I would see how it all worked Lord knows I can always use the support...LOL. Anyway, when I went to the forum the only thing that came up was a message saying by invitation only!!!! What gives???? Can anyone fill me in? Thanks, Toni
I can't even find a forum like this. Where do I look for it to see if it does the same thing? I clicked on forums and then read all the categories and I don't see anything on emotional eating. I know I am horrible with this and worry about how I will be after WLS. Let me know if you figure it out, I very well may need it.

Hi Shawn,
It is under forums it is in the top line of the third paragraph. According to tooter it is a class that you can join but they are not offering it at the moment. I guess they post it on the main board, but I don't personally care for the main board, there can be some nasty hateful people on there. I personally havent had any problems with it. But I have seen them chew up and spit out a few people. I perfer to hang out with caring an considerate people like the great Michiganders of this board. I have been a part of this board for over 3yrs and I love it. I don't post as often as I use to but, time hasn't allowed it. One thing about weight loss, not only do you lose weight, you lose time.....LOL!!! Really you just have way to much energy to sit in front of a computer for to long.
If you haven't found a good local support group yet, you really need to. I nothing else we will be here for you when you need us. Good luck on your journey and God Bless----Toni
I know what you mean about the main board. I lurk there now and then, but have only posted a couple of times. Most of my questions have been about local doctors and clinics so they need to be here on the Michigan board anyway. I like the gang here and I am staying. LOL....
I know there is a support group through Hurley, I am just starting this whole process though and haven't started with that. I am so busy with physical therapy and school right now that I don't have the time for it. My classes end the first week in September and my PT won't be much longer and shortly after that I should have a date too for my WLS, so once my calander clears up a bit, I will be able to start the support groups. I know I need them and i do plan on going to them, whether it be the ones at Hurley or if I find a closer group. Thanks for the words of encouragment.
