Well you all knew I was going to the Chicks concert tonight. I am such a groupie. Well to start out the evening they were filming clips of people waiting outside of the arena and they filmed me.... then as we are waiting for the show to start this japanese photographer walked by and I asked him if he was the dude that has been following the chicks and writing about them on MSN. He says yes and I tell him how much I love the articles, and he asks to take my picture, then asks me if he can post it to the site...hell to the yeah! Just to be associated with my girls would be awesome..Then as I am rocking out to the concert which I did alot of, a photographer from the Chicks camp was on the stairs in front of me and took a picture of me rocking out to the song! I am so excited. I would never have allowed people to take pictures of me before let alone post them on websites! And let me tell you I rocked my butt off at the concert, I sang along to every song and stood the whole time and never got tired! It was so amazing and such a wonderful experience. Also I fit in those chairs just perfect, if anything now they are to big for me. LOL Still gleaming from my night.... Suzanne 300/150

Suzanne - wasn't that awesome?! It was a WOW moment for me too - everything from the stairs out front that would have been almost impossible before to not being embarassed to rock out. It will be my three month anniversary on the 27th - I think this was an appropriate gift to myself.

So you went to the concert too? Did you enjoy it? What was your favorite part?? I loved Not ready to make Nice, and I loved the opening where they walked out to the presidents song! They put on such an awesome performance. Suzanne

Hi Suzanne: What a great moment for you. I am a singer/fiddle/guitar player, and I am just now developing an appreciation for the Dixie Chicks. A couple of years ago, I learned "Lovin' Arms" without even knowing it was a Dixie Chicks song. I've never really been into mainstream music - instead preferring roots, folk and bluegrass. The Chicks do such a nice job crossing over old folk stuff, old country and bluegrass into mainstream though. I love the song "Wide Open Spaces" and ohh..one of the new ones. Many people have said to me "If you were thinner you'd look JUST like one of the Dixie Chicks!" I think they mean the one named Natalie. Who knows, maybe I'll be mistaken for her one of these days once I'm on the losing side.

I was there too. It was awesome, wasn't it? We were on the main floor and saw the camera crews walking by and filming people and we were hoping that they'd come by but didnt! It was a great experience, except a the beginning Natalie Maines seemed sooo reserved that I worried she would be that reserved thru out the night - Im so glad I was wrong! My fav wasnot ready to make nice and sin wagon - how much fun was that? Anyway, Im not yet 3 months out but I definately had a blast and those stairs werent soo bad anymore. Sleep deprived from my night, Kathryn 342/276/160?
