Surgery Scheduled!

Okay, I finally have my date!! [___AUGUST 1st!!!____] i was told i had the h-pylori bacterica and turns out when i was handed over to Dr.Wood that he said the results were neither posotive or negative. Therefore, i didn't need treatment. Surgery is scheduled for the day after my 19th birthday. I'm so excited to looking forward to being healthier,having a better stamina, and having a new body and all thoes new clothes! I've never had any type of surgery or broken a single bone in my body. So ovbiously, i'm getting nervous. I hope you all are pulling for me and will give me the encouragment that i need to be strong!!! *hugs* xxooo Katie

Congrats Katie! They sure put you in the express lane, didn't they? Like so many others on this list have stated, I'm so happy that you are getting your surgery at a young age. You have so much of your life ahead of you to enjoy as a thin and healthy person. By the way, I am formerly from your neck of the woods. Lived on Grosse Ile till last August. My house is still for sale down there. We're all rooting for you, don't worry! Julie (who's having her surgery on August 9)

You guys are all absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!!! seeing that so many people care who have gone though this who offer so much encouragment and support means the world to me!!!... i'm sure all of you on this board with your advice, expierence, and cheering can get me through the rough patches.. *hugs* thank you all so much!

Thank you! And i will be at Harper Hospital i beleive that's in detroit. I'm not that much of a ditz, no worries, i'm just not good with directions to places lol... blah
