Dr. Kole is leaving CORI!
I would just see him at the RWLS office. It's faster and the office people know what they are doing. I walk in and out of there every time in no more that 40 minutes including whatever they have to do to me. Nothing changes-insurance stays the same and everything - you just get better care and the program manager is medically trained.

i was there for the first time two days ago for my one year follow up and am extremely impressed. i did notice that Dr. Kole is there now. They did not keep me waiting at all, Dr. S. was a great guy and very thorough in going over my records and recent labs and advising me. I want to get off my C-PAP machine so they were going to set up an appt for me with a pulminologist and Chuckie followed up and had my appt for me really quickly, it's already scheduled for monday. I'm glad that Dr. Schuhknecht is my new doctor.
I am currently waiting on getting my surgery date. What will happen to thoes of us who were pre-op's of Dr. Kole's now that he is moving on? .. will we have to be handed off to another surgeon and go through all of this again or will we stay right in the position in line we were to have surgery?... thanks to all .. *hugs*
According to the letter from CORI you will still be able to get care from their office. I am sure you will be assigned a different surgeon, unless you like him that much in which case I would suggest moving along with him. This surgery is 100% about the surgeon NOT the "center" they are with IMO anyways! If you are unsure, I would just call CORI and ask and I am sure they will explain exactly what is going to happen with your particular case! Good luck!
