1 month post-op - OMG WOW Moment!!

I have something exciting to share... I went to see my PCP today for my 4 week visit with him. At almost two weeks post-op I was down 41.5 pounds from my surgery date.... and are you ready for this?? Drum Roll, Please..... ((KP... You're the music man here... help me out.... )) I am DOWN FOREVER.......... 61 POUNDS....... since my surgery on 6-21-06!!!!!! And technically, that's a total of 72 pounds GONE since March 2006 when I was at my all time heaviest!!! (I will post my driver license picture tonight on my profile along with my current face so you can see what I'm talking about... The before is not pretty.) Holy Moley, it's only been four weeks!! Hubby and I went for a walk this past weekend.... my shorts fell down to my ankles!! Thank GOODNESS we were in our own back yard when that happend! My pants literally fall off my rear now... I am so happy I did this for myself!! I can laugh now when clothes don't fit - because they fall off!! I love it, I love it, I love it! Oh... one more thing... I found my collar bone this weekend, too! Haven't seen that in quite a few years.... Lovin' Life, The Incredible Shrinking Brandee

Congrats Brandee! That is so awesome how well you are doing. I know the feeling about the clothes falling off. Even though I have not had my surgery yet, in the past when I dieting and lost 20+ pounds that would happen to me. Of course I always put it back on and then some. I am looking forward to having it gone permanately. Congrats again! Shawn 304

That is AWESOME!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you, Brandee. You can hear your excitement in your post, and who can blame you. My results are a lot slower. I had my surgery on June 22, and I am down 17 lbs from surgery.. but as long as it keeps going in the right direction, I am trying to be patient! The one thing I CAN say .. is that it is sooo sooo nice to go to my closet and to KNOW that the only thing I have to worry about are the clothes getting BIGGER..not tighter!!! That was always so depressing to me. My husband would come home from work and our bed would be covered in clothes I had tried on for work and that didn't fit anymore. Keep up the good work! I'm so excited for you.. and me! Kim
