OT: AUDITIONS ARE OVER-NOW I WAIT!!
Last night were step 1 of the auditions for the locally produced play "Dracula".
I would have NEVER EVER auditoned for a part, however I have been backstage as costume mistress, (changing costumes for charachters) and props.
So, I have auditioned for 2 parts: one is a female vampire and the other one is Lucy's Mother- Martha. I can only hope that I get part. Call backs are tomorrow at 8am posted on the door, and actual cast roles will be posted on the theatre doors this Friday at 8am.
I did this to see how I handle my stage fright-- THERE WAS NONE!
I also did this to commemorate my 1 year surgiversary which is tomorrow.....and
I looked in the mirror before I went and told myself there is NOTHING to be scared of!!!
I'll let you know! And if I'm in it-- I expect to see you at 1 of the performances!!
(ok, well, if you can!)
Stacey
How cool Stacey I am so proud of you for conquering your fears. I feel the same way sometimes to about crouds of people and so forth when I was heavy. I would never of gone on stage or out in public. You have given me inspiration to go out and use my talent in some form. I can't wait to hear if you got the part and I would love to come and see you in the play. Tricia
