STRESSED!!!

My daughter has been sick since the end of may....severe pain in the left side and stomach. I took her to the pediatritian (shes 11) and they found blood in the urine, so they sent her to a urologist.....well the urologist did an ultrasound and found nothing, so sent her to a nephrologist......who kept changing her appts! So i changed her pcp to my pcp who seen her right away, and now she goes to a new urologist thursday.....I am so worried about her and scared too.. I lost my job in june because of staying home to take care of her so now only hubby is working . I filed for unemployment and it was determined that i was eligible for 21.5 weeks, that was 6 weeks ago and i still have not seen a penny. The bills are all on shut off and we are broker than we have ever been......i am so worried about everything, but am hoping things change soon. Thanks for letting me get this off my chest! Hi Linda, My thoughts and prayers are with you. I'll pray that they figure out what's up with your daughter and it's nothing serious. It's hard when you don't know. Good luck with the unemployment too.

Hi Linda, I'm glad your back I thought that you were on vacation or something I'm very sorry to hear of your troubles and I hope and pray all goes well with your daughters health. Have you heard or checked out the light house in oakland county I've heard that they can help people when they have shut off notices , e mail me if you cant find the number or if you have any ?. And I go this friday for my re-consultation for surgery I'll keep you posted. Tammy

Linda, Sorry to hear you are going through so much. I hope your daugter is feeling better soon. About the unemployment... have done the bi-weekly calling to MARVIN? It shoudl not take that long to get a check. Every time we file for my hubby it only take 2 - 3 weeks. I would call and check on it. Good Luck. Shawn 304

Hi Shawn, Thanks for the kind words. Yes i call marvin every other week and on time. The last place i worked for was protesting and they had to do a redetermination, which still found me eligible for benefits (i just got that in the mail today) . So hopefully something will come soon. Hugs Linda

Thanks for the advice Jennifer. I will check out these jobs as soon as i find out what's going on with my daughter. I'm sure the dr will schedule more tests for her when she goes back thursday, i just pray they find what is wrong and fix it. It breaks my heart that she is in so much pain.....even tylenol 3 doesn't touch it. she can't sleep most of the time, hurts for her to eat, and just lays around. It's killing me. Hugs Linda

Linda, I am so sorry to hear of your troubles, I can offer you this advice that seems to make me feel better, When things are out of my control I tell God, it's time for him to take control and work it all out. When things get too heavy for you to carry get on your knees and give them to God. Pray, Pray, Pray and I will pray for you and your family as well. God Bless You Sharmie

Hi Linda, I am sorry you and your family are having to go thru all of this. I think the worst part of it all is the unknown! The unkown of what is going on with your daughter and with your finances.
