It's my turn to make a dessert for a co-employee's birthday lunch tomorrow....she loves chocolate, and regular cake is just too boring. What can I make? It can be regular, not WL-friendly...I won't be eating it. I haven't made anything like this in long time, so I need some ideas...something ooey-gooey, chocolatey for her. I know there is some kind of ribbon layer thing with cream cheese? I could probably make it light and noone would even know. Any help appreciated! Theresa

Hi Theresa, This is a favorite of my hubbies I cant remember what its called but here is the recipe bake 1 chocolate cake mix per instructions on the package (I used triple chocolate or the chocolatiest one I can find) poke holes in cake all over with wooden spoon handle pour a can of Eaglebrand milk over cake making sure to drizzle into holes drizzle that layer with a bottle of butterscotch or carmel ice cream topping making sure again to get into those holes cool, then frost with cool whip chop up a couple of heath candy bars (I have used heath bits baking morsels but no chocolate is on them) sprinkle over cake & keep cool till ready to eat YUMMMMMMMMM A dump waiting to happen!! Take care DE

there is a man named Jon on this board who makes a chocolate cherry triffle or truffle or something like that using S/F pound cake, S/F cherry pie filling, S/F chocolate syrup and low fat non dairy topping. all ingredients can be purchased at the meijers. or at least i am told. it is supposed to be quite tasty or so i am told. u
