I work every day, walk to the bus which isn't that far. I start at 6:30 am and end at 2pm. Dealing with customers, I then proceed to RVH when is a two bus ride. Stay there until 7pm and take the bus back home..I feel like I am doing 2 jobs and between home duties and all the other stuff I am pooped..PS>I have pre op Monday, wow the day is coming so quickly. No time to think about anything. Shouldn't be ready the obits, reading all the negative stuff..But here is my real Question??? Is there any 10 year posts or longer. Just wondering what the longer term affects...???'s upon ????

Sorry, I don't have the answer to your question but I think that everyone goes through the "what if"s before they have this surgery. Its the first time some of us have had to face our own mortality. But I decided that the risks of staying obese far outweighed the risks of surgery. Some choose to have "the talk" with their families, some write letters to be opened in the event of their deaths and some rely heavily on prayer to get them through this. Don't dwell on the memorials. Many of them died from other health related issues. Stay strong and take care of yourself so you go into surgery healthy, well rested and ready. You''ll do great. Best wishes.

You know Arlene, I keep wondering the same thing. Where are the people who had the surgery done 10, 15, 20 years ago???? I've never found an answer and no one has ever given me an answer either. Bothers me. Are these people still around? I'd like to hear what people have to say. Anyone????
