Consult With Dr Tomorrow

I am seeing the Dr for my consultation in the morning...Any advice to offer? I hope I get a date for surgery while I am there!! Hugs Judy

Hi Jami....Good Luck on your journey!! I am going to Alma and I am seeing Dr. Cudjoe. I have met him already at his seminar and I loved him right away and trust him with the WLS. His was the second seminar that I have gone to when I made up my mind on having WLS. The other seminar was in Grand Rapids that I went to. Let me know how things went with your consult tomorrow!! Good luck Judy! The best advise I can offer is patience and persistence. I don't know how it works with the surgeons out there....but here just when you think you had everything covered,they would come up with one more thing to do that seemed to prolong the process. I tried to stay patient and not have overly high expectations, that way I wasn't disappointed. Also, the squeaky wheel gets the grease so to speak....so staying on top of or one step ahead of the surgeons office always helps. Depending on what your insurance company requires there may be other evaluations and tests that need to be met. God's blessings to you as you proceed to the next step of your journey. Sara
