Crazy Hospital Visit,,beware
I ended up in the hospital again after Saturday's festivities here at my house.
The doctor on call did a hole series of tests but could find out what was causing the problem. He didn't seem to understand the making of the bariatric and I tried to "fill him in" as best I could but he still couldn't get to the problem. I insisted something was wrong and he said he had a couple of options left to try if I was up to it. He left the room and came back after a couple of moments with a Siamese cat on a leash. He walked the cat around the table a couple of times before it jumped up on my chest and pawed at my incision. The cat looked at him, shook his head and he walked out with it only to return with a black Labrador Retriever. The dog sniffed my feet and then my head, put his front paws on the table and pointed at my incision in the same spot the cat was interested in. He then looked at the doc, shook his head and laid down. The doctor then walked the dog to the door and gave him to a PA who took the dog out. The doctor then looked at me and said, "I've exhausted all my options. I suggest that if the problem persists you contact your surgeon."
Great I'm thinking as I leave, I can't get any help. Just as I'm checking out they give me a bill for $4200.00!!!!! I looked at the doc and said, "$4200.00!!! For what?!?!? You couldn't find a thing wrong and you want $4200.00?!?!?!?"
He says, "My bill was just 200 bucks. The cat scan and the lab report cost $4000.00."
Get it? Cat scan and Lab report?!?!??!
I crack me up.
