Exhausted

Hey all, I am 1 week into my liquid fast and I am SOOOO exhausted. I drink a protein drink in the morning and one at night and do liquids all day. I take 1 multi vitamin in the a.m. Any suggestions for this? I can't have caffine! Do you think it would be ok to take 2 vitamins? I am not getting anything done because I'm so tired thanks in advance for your feed back! Hugs, Di

My first week was horrible on the liquid diet. The second week was not to hot either but was more tolerable. I remember my muscles were sore and my joints ached. I felt like I was moving in slow motion. I can not give advice on increasing your vitamins or if they will give you the boost you are looking for. Did you just quit caffeine at the same time you started this diet. I can honestly say the worst week I have had was when I gave up caffeine in Sept. I was sleeping while I was walking, at least it felt that way. Best of luck to you Diane, and positive vibes. Megan

Diane: These might be dumb questions, but worth asking. First, are you drinking enough protein? That's going to really sap your energy if you aren't. Also, are you drinking enough water? I went on a liquid fast diet years ago (one of the eleventy billion diets I've been on) and I remember that if I didn't have enough water, I'd get really tired. By the second week, I recall having loads of energy. Call your NUT if you're not feeling well, and perhaps he/she can advise too. Keep the faith, girl! Julie
