CT-SCAN this A.M.

Hello everyone, well I am off to get another Cat-Scan. I am praying for a miracle. My surgeon wants to compare the one they did in the ER to the one I am having done today. Atleast I will know the results today as I see him later this afternoon. I still have a TON of pain in my stomach. It is really hard right where my incision is where my right drain was. I have been on antibiotics for 5 days now, and I am praying that they are helping. The good news is I have not had a fever for a whole day... I am so happy about that! Well I will get back to chocking down this NASTY dye for the CT-Scan! YUMMMMMM!! NOT!!!!!!!

I've had CT-Scans and MRI's, so I know what you're talking about. Mine were for my brain. I had the contrast too, but mine was injected. I remember one time they missed and I told them to pull the damn thing out and restick me. After the third miss I was laughing hysterically, so they got someone else - he got me on the first try. I have requested him ever since!! Good luck to you!!

Hi Rhonda, I know all to well about them sticking you a bunch of times. While I was in the hospital this last time I got stuck 8 times in my right arm, and 3 times in my left. Some of it was for IV's and then they had trouble getting blood. Thank God they got it the first time today. I was really worried about that one. Thanks for the well wishes. I will find out today at 2:30 what is going on now. Kathy
