Old Dog NEW Tricks
It has been a long time since I've posted. I don't recognize a lot of names but congrats to all no matter where you are in your journey. I am looking for some back on track help! I have developed some B-A-D habits again and wanted to know everyone's "secrets" to getting back on track once you've developed eating that isn't health again! Thanks all! ~Van
Hi Van!
I emailed you already, but just know you are not alone!! It does happen when we aren't careful. As KP says, "Get all the bad stuff OUT of your house and don't go buy any. Also, don't let anyone bring anything bad in. If it's not there, you don't eat it". I had to "de-tox" from sugar and carbs again, and once a few days off of them, I was good to go. Go back to basics. I'm doing okay now and steadily losing but am I scared I will fall off the wagon???...YES! I swear food addiction is almost like an alcoholic or a drug addict. Always scared about failure. But so far so good, I'm happy to say!
Good luck and stay in touch!

Vanessa, knock it off girl!! You have came so far to let it go. get back to basics, protein, protein, and MORE protein! I know how it is, it's hard to get back on track, but you are strong and can do it. up your water and get walking.....no sugar or pop in the house, sf popsicles, fudgesicles are good when you want to snack. Go back and think of what your life was like pre wls, be determined to stick to it.
This usta guy is hilarious!
