how far out are you? What is your progress? Walking makes a lot of things better. If you have lost quickly it plays havoc on your back. If you are at goal or past you have no padding. If you were recent and had open your abdominus rectus has been pulled apart and you need that to help stand up or your back muscles do all the work. kp

Hi Debra, It will be interesting to hear what others say. I had my surgery a year ago and have lost 100 lbs. I have been having problems with my tailbone as well and my PCP has ordered x-rays to see what's going on. All I know is that it is painful! Diane

Hi Debra, I have tailbone issues as well - and I find especially when I spend a lot of time driving or in the recliner it is more irritated than normal BUT I also need to note here that about 10 years ago I broke the darn thing....so mine just might be more sensitive. To the credit of a previous posting - I find that the days I walk the pain is almost nonexistent!!!! If it continues to bug you - its probably worth getting an xray and having it checked out God Bless ! Syd

I have been having MAJOR issues with my back for the past month! I am 2 1/2 yrs post op, lost 140 lbs, had TT & breast lift 8months ago and now I have been having back spasms on a weekly basis. It is killing me! The pain radiates to my pelvic area and down the front and back of my legs (paralyzing them). I don't know if I am triggering something, pinching a nerve or what. It is dibilitating though - I can't sit, walk, stand or lay down. Nothing is comfortable. Started to happen last night and I tried wearing a magnetic belt around my waist for the back and OMG, I think it helped!!!! My back feels better today. I still would like to know what is going on.

Carrie, Thank you for your reply. I was in a car accident several years ago and broke my last vertibra. I have had leg numbing ever since I see a chiropractor every week and it feels a lot better.
