What a difference.........I feel like a new women.

I decided not to wait until Monday to have the stricture taken care of. I called the on call number this morning and spoke with DR Pop, he said that I needed to get it taken care of ASAP. So I made my way to Ypsi, arrived about 3:00. He had me on a IV drip for a few hours to re-hydrated. Then off to OR I went at about 6 pm, I was back into my room by 7:00. The procedure was simple and pain free. I am sooo glad that I didnt wait until MON. DR Pop said I would have been a raisin if I had waited till Mon. He said the stoma outlet should be 10-12 millimeters and mine was 2, so i was almost closed completely. On the way home we stopped off at a gas station and I bought a bottle of water. I was able to sip down a 20 oz bottle of water in about 40 mins..........I was so excited. I wanted to drive back to Barix and kiss the man i was so happy.
