Trying to decide

Jami, I went to CORi and they were great. I know that there have been problems in the past and I was concerned preop about a couple of things that no one returned calls but they have had staff changes and I haven't had a problem since the surgery. The post op support has been great although I haven't had any serious problems. Jeanne

Thanks for all of the responses, you guys have been a great source of info for me. I have my PCP's approval, she said she would do whatever she had to get me approved for the surgery. I have my psych eval on 7/11, mee with the people at Barix on 7/13 then the people at CORI on 7/25. So I figure whatever place gives me the best vibe I will go with. I will keep you all up to date! My daughter was the one that actually brought up WLS again...and serious about it. She said Dr Zeni at St Mary's is awesome. She works there so she has heard alot about him. I was trying to go there until I found out my insurance will only let me go to Henry Ford. The woman I talked to on the phone originally was so very nice. Said to come to a meeting even though I wasn't going to have surgery there. Just to get info. Good luck in your choice.
