Went to Dr. and I am allergic to Isopure. Reaction to Meds.
Was given Zyrtic syrup and Zantac Syrup. Man with insurance it still cost me $120.00 
So we got home and I took both of them and had to lay down made me tired and when I woke up my upper lip is huge. 
Now at 10pm is going down some but not alot. So now its an allergic reaction to the zantac. Man not a good day. It did stop the itching thank goodness. Thanks for letting me vent.

Oh my, I am sorry this happened. But I had curiosity about the Isopure.
Not everyone can drink the same things. At least you found out what it is.
On the bright side, there are other forms of protein out there, perhaps the SYNTRAX Nectar would be one you like. I took the fuzzy navel for quite some time but in very small doses.
I am away now - @ Mom's, and saw this post and wanted to tell you that I'm glad that you called Dr P and found out what it is so you don't suffer anymore. I was very concerned about the itching and welts. So thank goodness you caught it now.
I had the same problems with milk for 5 months, now I can touch it, use it although I don't like it because of my allergic reaction to it. So perhaps after a while you might be able to take it but why try?
