Hello I posted a message and its not on the board???? oh well here is another one. Just wanted to update on my progress I am four months post op and I am down 127lbs and 12 CLOTHING SIZES WHOOOO HOOOO THAT IS THE BEST PART. And it changes weekly not this weekend that just past but the weekend before I was wearing size 24 and this weekend on sat I bought a size 22 jean capris the lady at the avenue keeps yelling at me cause I keep trying to buy bigger sizes. I cant get used to it I havent wore this size in 12 years. I am so full of energy but still trying to find a job . I am looking every week on diff web sites and going to michigan works office and no luck. I would love to hear from everyone on how you are doing??? I miss being able to read the board and comment on a regular basis but since I moved home I have to share the computer with my parents and they are both retired and live on the pc. lol Does any one know when your hair stops falling out. I am trying to get my protein in but I am never hungery except during my monthly cycle so its like forcing my self to eat. I cant tolerate meat so I know that is where I am supposed to be getting alot of my protein. Any suggestions I drink alot of milk and eat low fat cheese. OK any feed back is greatly appriciated Hope everyone is doing fantastic God Bless everyone and your families tooo Angie Clinton Twp 376/ 249

Congratulations Angie!!! You are doing fantastic! I know what you mean about trying to get your mind around those smaller sizes....it's incredible! But the sales lady is right! Our brains still think we're fat for a long time...even though our bodies have melted away. Rule of thumb...whatever size you think you are, take one in the next size down and the NEXT size down, cuz you're gonna end up needing it! Gotta love it! Again, congrats and have a great 4th! Congratulations Angie, it sounds like you are doing great. I cant give advice since I am only 2 months out, but hey- what about cottage cheese. I eat that for the protein and I put protein powder in anything I can, so I know I get enough. I started taking biotin also, for the hair loss -which I fear since I dont have much. Not sure if it works but someone at this site recommended it, so I 'll let you know! Good luck job hunting - the extra energy is really an amazing side effect isnt it? Kathryn

Hi Angie, I'm happy to hear of your great weight loss and success in the clothing sizes!!! I'm also noticing the difference in selecting smaller sizes--My surgery was 2/1/06 and have lost 76 lbs. You are way ahead of me in the weight loss total, but I understand that everyone loses differently. I also have some problems with meat and I am seriously concerned with the hair loss--I also started on the Biotin just last week. I'll let you know if it helps me or not. Keep up the great job!!!!!!!!! Happy summer! Nancy
