I went to my PCP today for blood work and follow up from surgery on the 21st of this month. I am one day shy of being two weeks post-op. Okay people.... GUESS HOW MUCH I have lost in those two weeks (minus 1 day)?????? Okay fine - I'll tell you.... T H I R T Y N I N E P O U N D S!!! Yes, 39 pounds.... And if I want to get technical... that would be 51 pounds lost since March when I was at my highest weight. !!!!....39 pounds....!!!!! AND... my blood pressure is WAY down from what it used to be!! Yup... Brandee is a loser. And actually, Dr. Hukill said that he has never had a patient lose SO MUCH during the first two weeks out. 39 pounds.... OMG I am so happy..... Love, The Incredibly Amazing Shrkinking Brandee

I must also note that as I lose weight, my spelling and grammar skills go down the drain!

Geez, you'd think with 39 lbs. lost in that amout of time you'd be a little excited. Wow! It is SO much fun watching people finally experience weight loss success. I bet you think it is all just a dream. Just you wait. This train has only begun to chug around the track. I am very happy for your success and excitement! Jon

You'd think I'd be a little excited, eh? I called my mom and told her... she was very happy... apparently she called both of my sisters because both of them have called me and whined about how it took them 5+ months to drop 30 pounds. I LOVE IT! Yeah so I feel a little guilty? NOPE... I so needed this pat on the ole ego. If this first 39 pounds feels THIS GOOD to loose, **** can you imagine the next 39? and the next... and the next?? Thank you for your support Jon!!

Theresa, if it weren't for you "experienced" WLS folks us newbies would not have the inspiration or the motivation to keep chugging forward!! Having you all to support us and kick us around when we need it a necessary part of this journey and I appreciate having all of you support us!!! Brandee

This journey is so fantastic BECAUSE we have people who know and understand to share it with. Family and close friends are great support but having people who have experienced the same highs and lows make all the difference!! THANK YOU!!! Brandee
