Medic Alert Bracelet

I got one that says RNY Gastric Bypass, No NG Tube w/o scope/ No NSAIDS and has a contact #. I ordered mine from www.creativemedicalid.com I got the one on thier home page because I liked the beads that Love Laugh Live. I bought one and the lady was very helpful with suggestions for the engraving. The way the bracelet hooks onto the tag makes it easy make other bracelets to hook onto the tag. I get beads and findings from www.firemountaingems.com For your husband you might want to think about a chain with a pendant or they have them with leather bands...kind of sporty looking. The chains would be easier to conceal, yet the medical people know to look for them. The other thing is that you want to wear a bracelet on your left wrist because that is where they are trained to take your pulse and look for it.

mine says pull finger in case of emergency. When I had my little emergency ride a couple of months ago they didn't even bother looking so why bother wearing one anymore? Mine is going on the dog. kp

Well, I'm not spending 65.00 for a piece of tin that looks like a MEDIC alert bracelet that I wear most of the time I'm in a vehicle. Plus, I carry a card and my drivers license notes that I had WLS. I guess all I can do to protect myself is make my WLS visible so I'm going to start wearing a bikini top 100 percent of the time .............. : : SW
