A Lesson - Newbies or anyone seeking surgery

Ok, so I started learning about the surgery 4 years ago but was told by my family and friends to just forget about it. They said it was just too risky. Well now here we are 150 lbs more than when I was then and my health is only getting worse. I am a Newbie to this site (I've only been on for a month or two) and I have learned so much but there is one thing that I would like to suggest to those who are just starting out. I am completely unprepared for what I am up for. Hopefully someone will learn from my mistakes. Stacey
