Question about Pysch Eval!!

I live in Adrian, MI and am trying to find a psychologist to do a psych eval for insurance approval. The only one I found wants me to see him once a month for 6 months to do the evaluation....Is this the norm????

Ditto....Most do in one visit. I see you have one of the Barix doctors listed. Barix has a list of psych they refer to -- just ask them for the list.

Check with your insurance!! I know that other posts suggested asking your surgeon and that's all fine and good but I did that and I got DENIED! Some insurances require you use a psychologist they recommend not the surgeons recommendations. I paid for my psych eval and all my paperwork was submitted and DENIED because I didn't use someone in network. Now I have to go for another psych eval that is going to cost me another $200. Stacey
