Five Weeks out Today
Well So far so good Five weeks out. Dont use a scale as of yet but clothes are fitting very loose. In fact I'm wearing clothes I havent in years. See the doc July 5 for a weigh in.
My question is what kind of foods were you eating at that stage? I'm a little leary of anything real solid yet. Still been pureeing. Any suggestions? I'm enjoying this loss now so I dont really want to get into to much food that I really like. Guess I'm a little "gun shy" Any thought on that?
I was eating deli meats, cheese fruits and protein bars/shakes.
It's on my profile but I had to shut it off for a while to keep a relative off of it. It will be back up in a few weeks. I would suggest looking at post ops a year or more out and reading their profiles for ideas. Chili is good too and soups are golden.

thanks for the reply I expected more regulars jumping in. I am not new to the forum but that was my first post.. Deli meats.. do you cut them up really small or chop up with cheese, Soup and Chil has been my staple. Gonna make some egg drop soup tonight. Spices are not a bother to me but had bad indigestion on fish. I have not vomited yet. Been a little quesy though, and water sometimes up sets my stomach (pouch) Sobe(drink) energy work well I dilute it slightly. Excited to find out how much I have lost. July 5th.
