THREE DAYS TO GO and the nerves are starting in......

I have surgery at 7:30 am on Friday. I am starting to get those nervous feelings. There is a lump in my throat and at times I feel like I could throw up. I know it's all the 'routine' of the phases of emotions. Thank god I have not started to cry yet. I do keep asking myself 'what the heck are you doing????'. But I know the answer to that - I am giving myself a new life!!! Tomorrow is my last day for 2 protein shakes and one meal. Then it's on to clear stuff until Thursday night. I think tomorrow I need to do spring cleaning (again) and try to keep busy. Michelle

Hey Michelle, You are going to do GREAT!!!!! The nerves are normal. I have 20 days to go and I am already feeling the way you do. LOL I have anxiety really bad so I am really fighting ro stay sane. You can do this! Stay strong and know that God walks beside you always. Hugs, Di

I know how you feel. My surgery is July 10 and I find myself feeling sick to my stomach everyday. I try to keep busy so I don't think about it so much. I wish I was first surgery of the day but Im not. I know I will ******vous wreck. Sundra

You'll be fine. I would do it again every year if I had to. Think of how free you will be when you get on the loser's bench. You will be in charge from now on. It will be a hard road but well worth it. Keep your focus. You ROCK!!! kp

I remember those days. 2 1/2 years post op and 140lbs gone! I couldn't wait to start my "new life". Just do what they tell you and take advantage of that first year and exercise as much as you can to loose the lbs & inches. Good Luck to you! Carey
