Researching dif surgeries

Hi everyone I am currently looking into which surgey is best for me. I was set on the lap RNY until I read about the micropouch. Has anyone had the micropouch done and what are the real pro and cons vs these two surgery types....any info would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Jami, I was originally set on the RNY but decided upon the Duodenal Switch. Check out the DS forum for more information. It is the best of all WLS worlds! I haven't yet talked to anyone that wouldn't do the DS again in a heart beat! No dumping, no strictures, less of a chance for long-term weight gain, you get to drink with your meals, you get to eat like a normal person.
