LOTTA QUESTIONS???

Hey all... I wanted to update everyone for my lap band info. I will becgoing to Dr Wood @ CORI Centers on July 11th for my first consultation. I really don't know what to excpect then? I have read the messages on here, and ya'll are talkin' about food, or puret foods. What should I expect after lap band surgery as well? I was also wondering how long I will be inthe hospital for? I guess I will behaving it done @ Harper Unive. Will I have to clean my system out b4 surgery? Well.... Ihope someone can answer these few questions for me. Darlene I didn't know Dr Wood did the lap band (but then there are a lot of things I don't know LOL). I suggest you call and confirm that hes does so you don't waste your time. I had my surgery at Henry Ford Detroit with Dr. Genaw. I only stayed stayed in the hospital overnight. All doctors have different requirements. Most I have read about require a liquid only diet the week before surgery. It helps to shrink the liver so it is not in the way during surgery. wow, I didnt know that he did not perform lap band. I was told by Cori centers that he did, so I guess I will be calling tomorrow and see for my self. Hopefully he does, or I will have to find someone else to do it!!But thank you for your reply, and your suppport, I so do appreciate it!! Thank you,, Darlene
