Thanks Sue! Gosh, I'm glad I helped someone steer away from the sugar, cuz as you know, it's been a fight for me. This Board is therapy for me....I hope people don't get sick of seeing my smiling face on here, but I really need to stay connected and gather up the good info, as well as give support. You really made my day! I plan to stay on track and I'm feeling good! Thanks again! Hugs, Theresa

Good for you. I find myself reaching out for food to comfort, to get rid of tension; in other words, falling into my old mindset. I need strength. I can't forget what I've gone through to beat my weight problem. I have to straighten my mind out; before I start gaining. Dora

Oh Dora, I know EXACTLY how you are feeling! The good thing is you are figuring this out before it gets out of hand, like it has for me. The comfort of food for stress, happiness, unhappiness, celebrations, and zillions of other things can really turn you in the wrong direction. I know, how soon we forget what we've been through to get healthy. I've found sugar free pudding is saving me lately. I couldn't stand the stuff for a while cuz of so much of it we had to eat early out, but now I am enjoying it again. I'm just resolved I am going to do this this time. I PRAY I can continue...I hate to tempt fate!!! But I have to say it aloud to reaffirm it! So just know you are not alone Dora....I'm here if you ever need me! Just a click away! Good luck and have a great day! Theresa

You are so right about the comfort of food. We didn't magically turn off that comfort. We get so busy, get stressed: and want to turn back to our old comfort which is also a poison. Too bad we can't reprogram our brains. Wonder if it goes back to when we were babies; when we cried, we got fed. Have a great Fourth. Dora

Theresa, Congratulations on a great week. We can all do this. It is so hard to keep inline. I am singing with you, but the windows are really shaking. I can't carry a tune. Have a great weekend! Lynn

Hi - I remember the patience song as the Snails song in the kids musical the Music Machine? Anyone do that musical when they were little? My mom used to tell me to be quiet all the time because I'd get it stuck in my head for days. Oh Great... LOL, Kim
