Debbie Miers - Another Update

Hi, I went to see Debbie yesterday (6/21) at the hospital. When I arrived, she was sitting on the side of her bed, and looked very alert, and was smiling and chatting with me the whole visit. We went for a walk, made two circles around the hall she was near, and then went back to her room. I put her hair up in pigtails to get it off her neck. I left for a bit to look for a paper and when I returned, her (our) surgeon was in her room and said "she's doing great and everything looks good". I stayed a while longer and we talked about things....she had to be moved from her first room due to allergies to flowers. The other room was laid out weird too. Her new room was much nicer, and she seemed happier. After a while she became tired so I left. I plan on stopping in today to see her, and am bringing my laptop. Not sure if she wants to post anything (I'd type it for her) but it's possible. She looks good, was up and walking, and coughing and breathing good. She is really doing wonderful. Thank all of you for your support, prayers and friendship to her. I know she appreciates it. All the posts on the thread about her surgery post op, and the support pages, I printed them off and took them to her. She liked that! Have a good day! Stacey-----Debbie's Angel
