!!POSTPONED!!

I woke up this morning and told myself NO MORE I actually slept pretty good last night. I think because I was exhausted. Today is a new day and the sun is out. I will be JUST FINE And Dr. Farhan's office confirmed my new date: WEDNESDAY, June 21st at 7 a.m. - be to hurley at 5 a.m. So today.. it's back to Walmart to try one more time to purchase those items I will need!

I am sorry for your postponement, but at least they were able to get you reschudeled within two days! Look on the bright side - the postponement was not due to something you did (or didn't) do! Besides, I think you'd rather have the doctor focus his full attention on the surgery than his mind wandering somewhere else, right?? You will be just fine - and you will look on this as a small glitch on the way to a new life!

I spoke to the girls at my surgeon's office first thing this morning and we learned that my surgeon's father passed away this weekend and my heart breaks for him. Here I am worried about myself when this man's heart is broken. Please keep Dr. Farhan and his family in your prayers.

Two more days... I CAN DO THIS! I have a bunch of things I want to do that I can find the time to do now... hubby is home today with me and I think we are going to go to the park and take a walk in a little bit.

Brandee, The same thing happened to me. Although I had a a few more days notice than you. My surgery was scheduled for a Thursday and on Tuesday I got the call that it had to be rescheduled. Although they rescheduled me for the following Tuesday just 5 days later, I was crushed at first as well. After the initial let down, I also took the attitude that it was all for the best. I'm not sure, but I believe my surgeon had a personal emergency. What can you do, they are human too, right! I just thought at the time this was my rotten luck. Now I can look back at that and say it all happened in God's perfect timing. I'm 12 weeks out and doing great and you will be soon as well. My thoughts are prayers are with you. Keep us posted!
