Any Whey question
Hi there. I am looking for Any Whey users! I am 5 days post op and have been using Any Whey. So far I have only been mixing it in my Crystal Lite or my milk drinks. But today I thought I would put it in my Cream of Mushroom soup. So I made the soup with milk and then added the powder. I then continued to cook it a bit more and kept wisking the soup. The powder did not disolve very well. I then stained my soup and still found tiny clumps in the final product. The directions on the Any Whey package say that you can add it to soups at the end of cooking, which is what I tried to do. Any suggestions to cooking with Any Whey?
Melissa
I predominately use my AnyWhey for drinks, but I think I read somewhere on the container that when you use it in hot drinks/soups that you need to incorporate it very slowly so that it does disolve/blend. Perhaps that is what caused the clumps for you. Maybe try waiting till it gets slightly cooled down before adding the powder. ???? Dunno exactly what to tell ya since I never encountered that issue. Hopefully someone else can fill ya in and help ya out.

Hello Melissa,
I have Any Whey and what I did when I was "practicing with it" was put it in my shaker with the soup, then I shook it for a bit and cooked it slowly to the temperature I wanted. It worked pretty well for me. I found that when I added it all at once I ended up with a ball of goo... Perhaps you could try that?
I did notice that it seemed to blend very well with yogurt and Dannon Yogurt Smoothies just by mixing with fork. I am still learning though... so for I have not had too many problems.

Thanks a bunch Melissa... everyone's prayers and well wishes really help lift me up. The 19th was just not may day... but I am determined to make tomorrow a good day regardless.
Any Whey (I just love that name), good luck with your protein. I also have Nectar Fuzzy Navel and LOVE IT. I even got hubby to have some with me and now he has agreed that this would make a good breakfast get-up-and-go drink for him. My husband is diabetic and my new lifestyle will also benefit his health greatly, too.
