No longer in "W"s

Went to buy a pair of pants today to wear to this funeral because I don't have anything besides jeans and other casual pants in my closet. Well, out of curiosity, I decided to try on a straight 18 -- even with a zipper, not an elastic waist -- at Kohl's. And ... it fit! Although I didn't really like those (they were a little long and there weren't any petite lengths), I was so excited. So I went to Penney's, found a size 18 short and bought those (and they were actually less expensive than Kohl's and much nicer). Who knew buying pants for a funeral could be so much fun? I started on this journey nearly two years ago as a 30W ... I'm no longer a "W" Eileen lap rny 6-29-04 347/192/170 30W .. 18 ... no W needed

Very cool! Way to lose ! I've never been a big Kohl's fan, for just the reasons you listed. Good sales on houshold stuff, though.

I share in your joy!!!!!!!!!! Congrats to you!!!!!!!!! I remember wearing size 32W. Now I am in a size 12, sometimes because of the belly still on me I have to get a 14 tho. Nonetheless, it's amazing how far we travel in our journeys and the joy of buying clothes has ONLY just begun!!!!!!!!!! Stacey

Congratulations on the 18's!!!!! I remember when I finally got to the "teens" instead of the 20's and that was a great achievement! And no "W" either! Good for you! Hugs, Theresa
