I'm home
I just arrived home this afternoon, I was released from the hospital last night about 6:30, we decided to stay a leave this morning. I stopped three times on the way home to walk around the rest stops. This was in between sipping on my total of 96 oz. of fluids for the day( 64oz's of water and 24oz's of protien). All is going pretty good, the pain is not intolerable and fluids are going in ok! I had no complications w/ surgery.
Thanks to all my supporters here at OH It means a lot to me.
Hugs,
Phyllis Gilbert

Thanks for the welcome home I can certainly understand the mixed emotions. I had a couple of days feeling like that too. Your time will go in quickly, I am so happy it is finally going to happen for you.
Thanks for the gentle hugs, and I will be praying for you on the 20th for a swift and uneventful recovery. I have already saved a good spot for you on the losers bench.

Hi Phyllis-
I can't believe you are able to get all that fluid down. That is terrific. Were you at Beaumont Hospital? That is where I had my Lap RNY on 6/1/06. I am glad you are doing well. Each day you will get a little stronger. Keep smiling.
Be Well,
Romey
Hi Romey,
I am working on it dilligintly. I have got most of my protien in for the day, but I still have about 20 oz's of water yet to drink tonight. I had my surgery at Spectrum Hospital, Blodgett Campus in Grand Rapids. I look forward to felling better and better.
Hope all is going well with your journey.
Hugs,
Phyllis Gilbert
