Dr Schuhknechts organization!

Does his new office have a bariatric program? (diatician,support) Does he still do a procedure similar to the micro pouch? Does BcBs PPO just require one year of documented weight loss and some comorbities and bmi of 40 or greater? About how long does it take to get in to Dr S --if the primary is anxious the the surgery to occur? I know---lots of questions but I've just been out of the loop toooo long and my girlfriend doesn't have internet access. Any help is very appreciated. Marti L

Hi, Yes the do. He does a near complete bypass. They same size as me. I dunno about BCBS - It took me three weeks plus all the numbers and comorbidities. You can get to him fast. The office people are very efficient. I've walked right in and walked right through. Call them at 586-276-8130. He's cuttin on me again next Tuesday to fix this nasty scar on the left side. kp

I go to Riverview for the Schuhknecht shuffle. It will be out-patient surgery they think. I should only be in for an hour. I was there for the last one. You ROCK!!!!!!!
