sorry i havent posted in awhile but ive been kinda mad and gave up on ever having surgery but its been time enough to get my diet history and im getting ready to have the surgery i just got the rest of my diet history sent to hurly and im just waiting"im very good at that lol" ill post anything new when i find out more ...Curt

I am kind of going through the same thing. I am 32 years old, 5' 6" and I topped the scale last week at 432. I have been on many different diets since I was 5. Weight loss has been a life long struggle. I have Blue Care Network and they are changing their program to be "Center of Excellece" only also. I have been working with a surgeon for the past couple weeks and we are in a mad dash to get me approved. If I don't get approved by June 30th I have to start over with another surgeon. To top it off I got a new primary care provider; one that said he would support my decision, and now he won't write a letter of support because I am "too new". I know what it feels like to be so close but so far away. My paperwork was sent to the insurance company on Monday and I have been a complete wreck since. I just keep thinking that I have lived with this for 32 years and a few more days, weeks or months is not going to bring me down. Keep your head up...we can do this. We are strong...we have fought the battle this long!! Best Wishes...Stacey

I had my surgery last August with Dr. Farhan. I was so impressed with him and all has gone very well. I hope that things go smoothly for you from here on out. Good luck and try not to get too frustrated while you're waiting. Tina 335/206/150-ish
