Hi, Im about 7 weeks out and trying new and more foods per my nut, and I am having som trouble. I get sick quite a lot - mostly its my fault, I realize afterward. I eat quickly, esp.when Im around my kids. We always seem to be rushing, and although I eat the "right" things in the "right" portion, I often feel sick and usually throw it up. I feel bad about this too - I consider myself a smart person in most other areas EXCEPT eating. This has been harder then I realized.....just wondered if there were others out there too? Hi Kathryn: I am not a newbie, but wanted to share with you that you probably need to slow down when you eat. I know that must be hard with a family, when you feel you are always on the run. But, our new tummies can't handle a lot of food quickly. If you find you are still getting sick after slowing down, you may have a stricture. YOu should give your doctor a call just to make sure. Take care, Tracey

Im about 7 weeks out and I have not had any problems. I do remeber to eat. I follow the directions of the doc and the nut and have been fortunate enough to not have any problems. I do agree that if after slowing down it does not stop then you should go ahead and call your doctor

Hi Kathryn You must slow the eating down . It takes a while to know when you're full, so you're probably eating too much. Eat slowly and stop as soon as you feel satisfied. If that doesn't help, call dr webber. Hugs Linda

Kathryn.... Something interesting I learned... Dr. Webber gives us REALLY small pouches... smaller then many other doctors so I can tell you we do fill faster. Talk to MARTY , she has set my but straight more then a few times.... SLOW down eating.. Marty had me eat smaller meals more often so your not as hungry when you do eat.. this has helped me out TREMENDOUSLY even to this day. Dr. Webber does not advocate 3 meals a day but rater 6 small meals through out the day... Hey he must me on to something cause here I am 9 months out an 9 pounds from GOAL! Chin up.. your doing GREAT! Erin 282/164/155
