1. It is not my TOM that was 2 weeks ago. 2. I am NOT pregnant I asked my WLS nurse yesterday when he called about my upcoming appt. and he had no idea... obviously not WLS related I guess. I tried water pills for 2 days and it helped some, but I'm not sure I should be using them.... Today I'm puffed up again.... ANYONE have any ideas? Help? Suggestions? Anything...... Thanks! Erin

Water retention is such a hard thing. I struggle with it. I remain on a half a dose of diuretic even though my blood pressure is under control. My body won't deal with the water without it. I have tried natural ones but the didn't work for me. Asparagus and watermelon are supposed to help. Good Luck! Leeanne

Erin, you will have water retention if you are not getting in enough protein. DO NOT USE DIURETICS for this. Carol

Really? I've been kind of bad about protein this week and my fingers were swelling up. I didn't realize that could happen. Thanks for sharing. Guess I'll have a protein shake before bed. Thanks for the tip - Michele

I also heard the massage therapy can help with this. Not to mention who doesn't love a full body massage! You can give that a try. Di
