I'm taking the blow dryer :-)

A little bit of an update on me.... Jill (from my surgeon's office at Hurley) called me today at work and I learned that my surgery time has been changed to 9:30 a.m. on the 19th. (I think this is the 8th time change...) And guess what? Dr. Farhan AND Dr. Obied will be re-routing my pipes! Normally the surgeons work in teams and I just so happened to be fortunate enough to have two of the best around complete my team! I think that is pretty darn cool. I could not be in better hands IMHO! On a different note, I have decided to take my blow dryer with me. Thank you ALL for your support, love and encouragement! I would not be as sane as I am today if it weren't for all of you wonderful people! Brandee ...soon to be "The Amazing Shrinking Brandee"

Brandee, I just had my surgery @ Hurley.....I can't say enough great things about that hospital. I only hope you end up with Lucy & Betty as your nurses.....Lucy was my nurse the first night and took such good care of me....she is a true in my book! Dr. Obied is such a wonderful and caring man and I feel I had the best too!~ Good luck with your surgery ...my the angels always be with you Good luck Maria

Good Luck!! I had my surgery in February and Dr. Dabideen did it with Dr. Obied assisting. Hurley has a WONDERFUL group of nurses. They are by far, the best, hands down. I was soooo very impressed with their care, I had to take them a gift when I was feeling better!! You will be in the very best care! If you feel like drying your hair, you are a bigger woman than I was... :D Again, good luck and welcome to the Losing Team! Tiffany
