NOMC Pontiac is anybody going....

I truly do appreciate the offer. I am coing down from St. Clair County, not a biggie as I am down in that area quite often. I don't know a lot about Pontiac but can find the hospital....even when I don't get lost 
I was just curious if anybody was looking into the program there or not. I am told they are in the process of getting a DS surgeon for their program but as of Friday they still don't have one.
The main reason I am looking into their program is because it will be a full spectrum program with nutritionists, exercise physiologists and therapists along with the pre-and post op support groups. That will be a bit of a haul but it's sounding like the best all around program right now. And they will follow patients up to 3 years after surgery.
Some of the other DS surgeosn in the are also do 2 years follow up but the program fees are astronomical. Many folks are not being afforded the procedure because of the prohibitive fees. NOMC will not have those program fees.
So...I am at least sticking my foot in the door. Don't know if I will keep it in or not but I will know soon.
I don't know who they are looking at for the program for a DS surgeon as the 2 who do it there already will not participate.(not enough money for them I suppose) I believe the RNY surgeon is Dr. Pleatman but not 100% sure on that one.
Did you have yours done there? Any heads up about the facility overall? Any hints, tips or tricks greatly appreciated.
