Brandee~ I always recommend the Listerine breath strips. I was told I could have them after surgery and I was glad I had them with me. I brushed my teeth as I normally would but I couldn't get rid of the dry mouth / bad taste in my mouth thing even though I was sipping water and brushing often. The breath strips worked well for me. Sandra, breath strips are a great idea! I will put them on my list of things to pick up this weekend. I have noticed that the fuzzy mouth feeling sticks around after drinking protein drinks... this will come in handy! Thank you for the well wishes! Brandee

Don't forget the chapstick! It was like a lifesaver.......lol. Hurley told me to wear home what had on the day of my surgery......remind your family NOT to take that outfit home.....Mine did...so I road home in my nightgown, a robe, pink hat and my hello kitty slippers.....Let me tell you...that was one scarry site from flint to Sterling Hts! lol Good luck Maria
